Conach House offers you the choice of 2 generous, well appointed rooms. Each room is fully self contained with private entry and off street parking. Having all the benefits and privacy of a hotel, but with personal touches of a home away from home.

Each room has its own small porch where you can enjoy the delicious continental breakfast included with your booking. As our guest, you are welcome to enjoy the beautiful grounds, spa pool, fire pit and outdoor dining area. Enjoy the quiet, peaceful surroundings where you can pick a shady spot to relax, pick fruit from the fruit trees or enjoy honey from our hive.

Set on a little piece of paradise directly opposite the entrance to the Karapiro Domain, means you only have a short stroll across the road from your accommodation to enjoy any Lake Karapiro events.

Whether it is a place to stop and relax between destinations, accomodation for an event close by, a venue for your Bridal Party to get ready for their big day or a get away to recharge your batteries Conach House is the place for you.

Who we are

Conach House is a purpose built Bed and Breakfast with entertaining at it's heart. While each room has privacy, there are several large social spaces to enjoy with your hosts and fellow travellers. The beautiful grounds have been lovingly developed over many years and offer some wonderful spots to relax in the shade and enjoy fresh fruit straight from the tree. Your hosts, Megan and Shane look forward to sharing their home with you and ensuring your stay in Cambridge is everything you are hoping for.

Conach House Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of Karapiro with the Karapiro Domain and Sir Don Rowlands Centre located immediatly across the road.
It is an 11 minute drive into the beautiful tree lined centre of Cambridge where you will find a wonderful selection of boutique shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.
The Te Awa cycle way runs straight past the gate and the Avantidrome is just 14 minutes drive away.
Karapiro is a wonderfull in the central Waikato to base yourself for events or day trips with Mystery Creek Events Centre (16min), Hamilton Airport (18min), Hamilton City (28min),
Hobbiton movie set (26min), and Maungatautari Sanctury Mountain (30min) close by and Waitomo, Rotorua and Mount Maunganui all just a one hour drive.
If you are attending a wedding locally we are handy to several local venues including the Don Rowlands Centre (1 min),
Sarnia Park (5min), The Boat Shed (10min), The Red Barn (15min) and Rosenvale (17min).

Welcome to Conach House, Shane and I love opening our home to you as our guests; for the time you are with us our home is your home. A little bit about us, we are born and bred from Hamilton/Cambridge and have 2 kids, Bella 15 and Issac 11. We love meeting our guests and you will always receive a warm welcome from us. To you, Conach House is your accomodation for the night, to us, it is our home and we take pride in sharing our little piece of paradise with you. Whether it is relaxing in the sun with a glass of wine, sitting in the spa watching the crystal clear stars or sitting around the fire pit on a cooler evening we want you to leave feeling relaxed after a little TLC before you head off on your next journey. We can't wait to meet you!
